Roots Venue was born from the heart of Selmarie Grobler, a woman with a deep love for people, celebration, and beauty. Her dream was to create a space where families could gather, celebrate, and make memories that last a lifetime. That dream became a reality on Valentine’s Day in 2011, when Roots Venue officially opened its doors.

Built by a family, for families, Roots quickly grew into more than just a venue-it became a place filled with joy, laughter, and togetherness. From weddings and birthdays to conferences and baby showers, every event hosted at Roots carries the touch of the Grobler family’s warmth and dedication.

Over the years, Roots has expanded to include a variety of spaces: the elegant Big Hall, the tranquil Chapel, the lush Garden Room, the cozy Roots Café, and more. Each space was thoughtfully designed to offer flexibility, beauty, and a sense of belonging.
